Hi Guys,

I'm a happy owner of my first VW bug!
Found this custom beetle on a online auction site and immediately felt in love with the color and style. Without going to the 'viewing' days, without knowing if it would actually drive, i took the leap of faith and placed some bids and to my surprise i was the highest bidder and owner Cool

The day it was delivered to me, I was completely blown away of the current state. At first, it seemed to be fully restored an no rust marks. The engine is a 1600cc with standard components, nothing fancy to be discovered here.

Overall, i'm lucky!
After some inspection, i found out that there is minimal beginning rust on the floorpanel outside and that the heating system has been removed. Besides that, its in an overall 'awesome' condition as I was afraid I was looking toward a complete restoration.

After some basic service, like brakes, carburator adjustments, it runs great!

I plan do so some visual and internal upgrades as we go along, but for now, I'm trying to learn as much as possible to keep this beauty in a perfect condition.

Here it is :
