I've heard in the past that some shops will do discounts for black friday. Is anyone doing them this year?

| A quick look at heads from jbugs reveals the chinese single port heads are up, way up from just about a year ago. |

I bought a 12-volt (lithium battery) Husky 3/8" drive ratchet wrench from Home Depot; special buy, $60. Who deserves it more than The Cuss ???

Depends on where you are. The Salvation Army here has a half off sale every Wednesday and today they had Black Friday using the same scheme. I bought some old CDs for 99 cents each. What a deal. |

He’s referring to the generous mark-ups that retail establishments makes. The Sally Ann is a charity so whatever they get donated like those CDs is all top line revenue. |

Goodwill here used to have half-off sales every other Saturday and was really crowded. But that has been on hold due to Covid (too crowded???). I also don't understand the "no changing/try-on rooms" some places have due to Covid !!!
Once I wanted a $100 table and 4 chairs set waited a few days and got it for $50. Mrs. Cusser refinished the chairs ("chalk paint") and I took the table up north to be my computer table. I've also bought speakers from old stereos, and used those for my patio speakers at both homes.
I see quite a few cordless tools at Goodwill, folks dump them as new batteries typically cost less than a complete new unit. I did buy a golf "pull cart" there for like $3.
