Dangling wire: Years back I noticed a red dangling wire hanging loose from the starter. I couldn't find where it belonged so I removed it. Today I was looking at the wireing diagram and see two red wires from the starter. One to T 50, and one to T+14 on to J9 #30 and on to J8 E. I'm not sure which one I have disconnected. It was about 10 inches long. So surely something is not functioning properly. Bob

Let me check my books....but there is usually a T-2 connector inside the engine compartment with a fat single wire going in one side and two red wires coming out the other side. If memory serves one of those goes to the starter.....and this fed into the gas furnace.

I can check my wiring diagrams later tonight. Ray
