Mystery holes under the dash of my 1964 Notch

While doing electrical work on my 1964 push button Notchback I noticed two holes that I do not know why they are there. What is supposed to go into these two holes under the dash?

They are for the radio mount.

One on right is for the radio bracket the one on left could be the dash support bracket.

Picture is of a 1965 Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio bracket, but I guess other radios may have a different hole pattern.
