With hopes of combatting a cold start issue, I ordered a couple Bosch Temp II sensors to replace the 30+ year old one I used to replace the original. Seems like it's the right move. which is great, however, I've got a leak coming from the T-stat housing at the sensor. Is this guy supposed to have a washer on there to seal properly? The salvaged oldie I was running did not, but I'm looking at photos and it seems that some do and some do not. I'm really trying to not crank down so hard that I crack the housing.
thanks. _________________ so many roads i know

Yes there should be an aluminum crush washer on it. I don't remember the size off hand but just take it to your local parts store and grab one that fits. |

You can often get crush washers from the fastener section of a hardware store. You will need to spend a few minutes walking the aisles and perusing all the little boxes to find them. |
