I lowered my bus 2 1/2 inches using drop spindles in the front and an IRS trans in the rear. The ride is pretty good overall. But the front does not damp as well as I would like. I put Koni’s in the front but not adjustable ones. It also does not track as well as I would like. I am considering lowering my tire pressure in the front. I have heard that may improve the tracking. Now, I must be keenly alert at all times. Also thinking of adding castor shims.
I am open to all suggestions.

proper shocks make all the difference in the world for a split bus.

you can not add caster shims unless it is a Barndoor (1950-1955). for "regular" split buses the caster has to be added into the construction of the beam.

what tires do you have in front, and what pressure are you running?

I'm dropped 3.5" w IRS, stock beam on 15" , but customized wheels (offset) I would think IF you used adjustable Koni's (and your front end is in good order)you may find that sweet spot. I remember taking the Koni's off 3X to get my ride, once in the back. I tightened-up the Koni's slowly to get there. Check your toe-in and try to wiggle the tires in the air. Any bearing movement will make the ride wacky and throw off everything.
