I have read the threads I could find on the red light above the wiper switch. Mine isn't hooked up and according to the previous owner,
"The red light on the dash is for the emergency flashers but the Wolfsburg West flasher relay doesn't permit connection of this for some reason. It could be done but would require either a 2 pole emergency switch which I don't think exists or a 2 pole relay energised by the emergency switch. One pole would then be used to supply the flasher relay and the other pole used to supply the red light."
Has anyone used the WW flasher relay and gotten this to wire up? Its just sitting there and I figure get it working! Thanks all.

Have you tried wiring it up using this diagram?

Use this key with the above diagram.

The WW relay replaces just the signal flasher. J in the diagram. Follow their directions for that. There is a separate hazard relay J1 activated by switch J6. It also controls the red hazard light K9. _________________ Tim |
