Nice job on the glove box, Joe. I can see how that will come in handy when you go boogie boarding....ha!

I need to install a "glove box" in my dash as there is a cut out where the PO had a radio[?] installed at one time. Just want some king of storage for proof of insurance, phone and any other small items other than gloves!

Kinda funny how the term "glove box" has endured, highly doubt any of us ever store our gloves in there. Ironically, I use gloves when driving my Corvette convertible top down when it's under 50 degrees , but there is no "glove box" in there!

In our area, if you need gloves to drive you needed them to open the door too so having them in the glove box doesn’t cut it!

Spooky hasnt seen much action during winter. Last Weekend we got a little snow, so it sat covered

But today, we went to the car show. Still a little cold, it was just under 40, but cars were there.

Although not a vw, this Studebaker was really cool

When I first walked up, I was shocked to see a flathead 6

I assumed the Studebaker was a mid 60's model, but turned out it was a '54, so it had a flathead 6.
It was nice to drive the buggy!

Hi Joe...

Good to see your buggy out and about. Interesting cars at that show, rarely are there any old VW's at he cars and coffee show I go to [only once did I see a dune buggy and never a Thing]. I dont take mine there as it's over an hour away on high speed roads so there are better vehicles to drive.

Spring weather has been good here and have enjoyed driving my buggy at the Ranch!

Just curious as to what you have Steve that won't make a 1 hour trip to a show? Lots of help here for problems...

Hey oprn...it's not that it wont make the trip it's more of it can't keep up with the crew I usually go to Cars/Coffee with. We are usually in muscle cars or exotic sports cars that regularly reach speeds over 100mph, no way could my little buggy do that!

I borrowed the Porsche 911 Turbo S on this fun day!
