One of the last details I have to solve as my Vanagon comes back from being painted is the replacement or re-use of my "syncro" badge. I purchased a replacement, but as you can see it is grossly undersized.
Fortunately, my original syncro badge survived removal surprisingly and relatively unscathed, but my paint shop says that the adhesive backing they have is pretty thick—thicker than original and thicker than comes pre-attached to the other replacement emblems that I have purchased. If I re-use the older larger syncro badge I'll need to provide new, but thinner adhesive backing. Does anyone know a good source for this?
Thanks in advance! _________________ '87 Vanagon GL Westfalia Syncro w/ rear locker

look up 3M automotive badge tape and adhesive. They make the tape in different thickness, and also have a glue. |
