Here in Washington, you can no longer refill a propane tank without the new safety fill/shutoff valve. The valves aren't available.... you have to buy a new tank with one on it. Anybody have a fix for this? _________________ '58 Westy camper-come and gone

Are you talking about the horizontal tanks on the Westies or any RV for that matter? If so these tanks are exempt from this new law. If you find that some one won't fill it they are ignorant on the law. Only the upright tanks like on BBQ's must have the new overfill valve. _________________ Jasan C.

Thanks much. I haven't tried to get it filled yet. I just know what I recently went through with a BBQ tank. _________________ '58 Westy camper-come and gone

It is best to go to a RV or propane place to do it. THey are better set up to reach the fill valve.
How many gallons or pounds or whatever does it hold? |
