I am in the process of restoring a 1884 Vanagon tin-top. I hope to turn it into a camper van.
I am shopping for suitable spray paint to convert the cab area from brown to semi-flat black. So I will be painting the dash and vinyl door cards. I want something tough that will not show wear easily. I am thninking of using Dupli-Color paint but maybe there is something better?
Same goes for the bumpers and grills. Semi-flat black and must be durable.
Any ideas?

Brighter more reflective colors may be a better choice for the interior of a camper. They’ll make it it look bigger and brighter (easier to find things you drop on the floor). Think of the colors you would paint your living room. Just something to consider. _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |

I used Duplicolor Trim and Bumper (spray)paint to renew my old and faded upper grill. Six months later and it still looks good, but that's the extent of my experience with it. _________________ '73 Super Beetle (resto-mod/rally look, 1776)
