The condition looks amazing, especially that gorgeous interior. You are so fortunate that so much documentation stayed with the car. I wish I had more history for my cars. _________________ Marc

WOW!
I live in Chicagoland, and to find a car from here, in this condition, is more than ultra rare.
I didn’t read every post, but this must be a 3-4 digit mileage car.
Congrats! _________________ Everything known to man has been written.

Nick,
i am very curious about the fresh air blower in the trunk. I assume the knob under the das is the control for it. It's not on the invoice so I also assume it was added after the fact? I would love to know if it works and if so, how well does it keep the air moving in the cabin? _________________ Sebastian Gaeta

Your initial clean-up of the paint is very encouraging. Will you try to get more shine by using a very mild polish and wax?
Your handbrake handle has a Type 3 plastic grip fitted.
The hood latch is a later design, such as from '68. The original style has a rectangular slot for a "J"-hook on the hood. Your latch looks like it was updated well so I would not worry about it. For comparison, here's moogie32's '63 Ghia with its factory original latch and latch panel-
There was a similar Terra Brown with Ivory top Ghia here in my area, which I've seen several times in person. It was very nice overall but I don't think its interior was still original nor with the same factory colors as yours- an amazing "bonus" which you have. |

Hi chaps
New look for the car I've fitted a 6 inch narrow beam which is more than I normally fit but it's looks fine and drives lovely plus drop spindles and dropped the rear a bit to much which I'm gonna change this week by going up 1 more spine to make the ride better ..

I am with you on this one. I would have polished it up and left it alone. It's a cookie cutter of the red 57 he had. I guess it's a style or a look like "Cal Look"
I'm going to coin the phrase "English Look". _________________ '58 Ghia 2387cc with a Berg / Folts 5 Speed

I'm surprised you can get away with such a narrow front end in the UK. With the wheels that far in, isn't it difficult to turn sharp without hitting the insides?
