That’s great info mastorna.
Can you please tell us what number (day) appears at the upper left corner of your M code plate?…. XX 6 _________________ aka: Evan

1963 Standard Sunroof m-code June 6th, 1963. Export UT Tourist Delivery.
It's got OG paint behind a layer of primer on the shell but the inside of the engine bay is perfect SWR. I can't say with full certainty that this decklid is how it left the factory. Last time I read this thread a few years ago I had to double check to see if the cover opened the proper way and sure enough it did. |

Ok I looked, and looked again.. this is cool-MINE IS BIG! So a nearly 60 year old change reduced to buses coming out over 6 days. So for us nerds out there that’s 6 days out of nearly 21,700!

I’m curious, this is obviously for the serious thesamba users (Everett will have the best answer). What approximately are the top 10 narrowest window of changes that can be found on existing buses in the community? I mean like, a really big one is the earliest post-barndoor bus ( 6-7 vin #s post-barndoor?) which is known exactly. Are there very many buses with changes that a were an old style on day xxx1, then a new style on day xxx2? Those to whom this makes sense need be the only ones who reply, lol |

Super!
Small cover used until (maybe later than) June 6, 1963
Large cover used from (maybe earlier than) June 12, 1963
@Warded
You’d have to restrict the inquiry to only undocumented changes… since we all expect the changes in Progressive Refinements/model year changes. Getting off topic though & could end up secluding important responses from future searches.
Maybe start a new thread “Undocumented Changes” (?) & include this one as a reference.
I know of at least one thing I could update it with…. not major… just a tidbit of nerd info. _________________ aka: Evan
