Hello all, I previously asked a question regarding a loud popping sound in my '81 Riv that occurs usually going in a low gear downhill, typically when braking/decelerating. I've concluded it likely has to do with engine misfiring/broken decel valve.
My question now is, is this dangerous? Is there a way to fix it? I can try replacing the decel valve but not sure if that will fix the problem.
Thank you everyone!
