Working on some cow fence on a part of my property I don't frequent and saw a brake drum sticking out of the weeds. Got to prying on it and unearthed an entire front beam. Kinda funny, because I just bought another ball joint/5 lug beam a couple months ago. Had one the whole time if I'd only known where to look.

It's in surprisingly good shape! Yes! Keep digging.
Stop though if bones turn up. It will be the remains of that vintage VW's owner and his disgruntled wife would just as soon that you left him be... along with his car.

Looks like a 67 if that is all OG! I bought a complete 67 front beam for $450, 2 years ago! _________________ Jimbo

Yah 67? 68? Can't remember the year switch to 4 lug. Or was it ball joints in 66? I used to know this stuff. |

I would not be surprised if you find dead bodies there.
With large properties, who knows. Esp.out of the ways type properties. |
