Yeah, beats me. I bet if I submitted for another BC it would have details it didn’t have before…😂😂😂

Rear quarters were a mess as well as the bumper brackets and apron. All squared away.

On to the heater channels. Both are getting replaced, but passenger side is up first! As well as both A-Pillars and rear crossmembers.

No turning back at this point. Nose job, it is, to replace all the bad and incorrect metal. This car was hit pretty hard early on in its life, as it had an oval inspection tray installed ahead of the gas tank. Time to correct it all.

Glad these panels are available. The job would be that much harder if not! Test fitting the tank, hood, fenders and bumper before welding it all up for good.

Just curious, is the part where the old and new door panels joined going to be left like that or smoothen out somehow? I am genuinely curious as I am interested in the art of metal work and what can be done (and why). Thanks, keep it up! |

No worries sir!
It was stepped and spot welded on the inside the outside had a continuous weld , helps prevent oil canning and warpage. Didn’t bother disguising the inner side due to it being hidden behind the door panels, anyway. Plus, we have nothing to hide. Quality work will continue 😊
