Does anyone know the diameter of the hoses that run up vertically from the heater channel there in the front footwells? The car is a 1974 KG Coupe. I see a couple options from the usual places and not seeing it in the Parts Book or the catalogues I have...

I am away from the car but trying to stock up on parts in advance of my next trip to work on the car.

While I’m here, do they just attach with hose clamps?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt, when I bought mine they were listed by the vendors as fresh air hoses. If you search that they should be correct, yours should be the same size as what I got for my 71.

They should fit fairly snug over the little lip at the dogleg inside the car, but can be secured with those basic clamps, where they attach under the hood, you shouldn't need a clamp unless they are real loose.

The stub coming out of the dogleg has an OD of 50mm. Thats on my 73' so assuming 74 the same. I do believe the earlier models had a smaller diameter.
