Dear Members,

I saw the Iron Resurrection show where they rebuilt a Ghia (filmed back in 2017 I think). I noticed this Austin VW club members installed the engine with this special breathing system that I have never seen before. Appreciate if anyone can share info on this. Thank you.

It’s just a sort of Porsche 356/912 oil filler with breather connected to the air cleaners sort of kinda like a 912.

It is Vintage Speed parts for the breather/filler and carb filters:

Personally I don't like dumping oily air into the carb.

I have a Berg with both valve covers vented and the 3rd hose it vented to the atmosphere with a button foam filter on the end.

Hi Glenn,

Thank you for your comments. Currently I have setup breather box with foam where two hoses coming from valve covers and third coming from oil filler stand.

I finally able to stop the leaking from the connectors at valve covers with stronger rubber hose and really tight down all connections.
