Will the older model sloped headlight fenders fit on a 68 body? |

Would you happen to know if an early model deck lid would fit on a 68? I.like the look of the early model better and I’m trying to make a 68 look like an early 60s model. Deck lid = engine cover . |

You need to change the apron to a early one also. _________________ Glenn

Ok, I was planning on changing that anyway since the one that’s on there is just about falling off now . Do I also need a different lock /latch setup also? Thanks |

Your frankenbeetle looks awesome. I wonder if an earlier hood would've worked (apron swap too, no doubt). Not sure where the access port would fall vis a vis the actual shift rod. Anyway, looks great, especially the fender tips to the apron, nice fit! _________________ My name's Steve and it's pronounced "Bust 'em" (cuz people think I'm Tom) 😏 |

Thanks busstom. It took a lot of patience to get it right. I thought about changing the apron and hood but never did it. |
