I was replacing the fuel lines under the tank and noticed my master cylinder leaking around the grommet. The grommet looked and felt like a sponge. I pulled the line coming in and the grommet which fell apart as it came out. I measure the hole in the MC and it measured 15mm and didn’t really have a step past the lip, maybe 1-2mm difference.
I ordered 113611817 but the hole in the center is for a 5mm line. The lines on my 66 square appear original and measure 6.5mm. What is the correct part number for the grommet I need? |

I think it's time to do away with that single circuit id use this opportunity to upgrade. either that or spit on it and push harder lmao!
I looked in the parts book and it shows that you should indeed have to correct part number. I know that if you don't get the grommet below that stepped bit, you'll never get any tube in the grommet..... ask me how I know |

Yup, I even did that on my 64 T-34. I'd rather upgrade the brake system myself. I think the last time I did one of those grommets I split it with a razor knife, and super glued the rubber back together on the line once it was in place. I also used hand cleaner to help install it in the hole in the pan. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
