swingaxle 1200. Look on the charts and do some mental math to slot it in.

Spoiler: March 1965.

I do not know how to fix this. All I can say is it all works fine for me with what I use, Firefox.

1962 would be Standard vs Deluxe. Standard still had a split case transaxle at that time. I guess I should have asked if your transaxle was a solid body "tunnel" type or a bolted together split. But the old number series never made it into 7 digits, so I didn't think about it. At that point not many Standards were being made and you can tell by how slowly the end-of-month numbers climb in comparison.

The A-B thing was on the charts but not stamped onto the transaxles themselves. Maybe back in the split case days they did but by 1962 it was just a serial number on the tunnel swingaxle.

I think the original number series was the crashbox. Then they had a partially synchronized then fully synchronized.

The image above of a transaxle showing the serial number as a mid 1962 model year. I think that was the tranny that came out of my own 62. However if you mean calendar year 1962, which included 5 months of the 1963 model year, they did go over 5 million.

I *think* you should be able to click on the links to open my images.

Like my signature says, I use FIREFOX as a browser that still brings up my posts as I intend them to be seen. I never cared much for chrome and avoid it. But others say that even with a chrome browser they still can click to access my embedded images. Unless you have a security setting that doesn't allow unsecured FTP images I guess.
