I replaced the seals on my 78 bay window about a month ago. I used the cheaper Brazilian seals from JBugs. Both are tight but passenger door is hard to open/close, sticks when opening. I kind of expect that with new seals and expect it might get motive over time. However, they both have caused my bus to whistle at speeds above 45mph. I verified it’s the doors, I put masking tape over the exterior leading and top edge and voila, quite. Couple questions. Does the group believe this will improve as they break in? Should I have opted for the more expensive German seals, are they that much better a fit? 😒
Thanks!

Thanks, I did search a bit prior to posting but found mixed reviews even on the German seals. I did not find the thread you shared, it mentions Airhead’s seals, they sound promising. I suspect the German seals would be an improvement. |

I removed my German door seals and installed the airhead seals. The door closes better now. _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum
