A dream come true again ..! Found this bus 1952 in Spain, (have a motor, gear box , front axle beam , front sigle vw, dash board , speedometer, steering wheels ,tanks, and some accesory ) i bring it back on trailer 3100 km in a week end ..
search many parts , tray spare wheel, colomn direction, front seat, Cab Door Window Frame 1952..etc..(long list)
All rust are finish but many hour before to paint..And i have to finish westy 72 before so..
Pics before / after now is in red paint , i ask certificat for more info, colour?!

Congrats. That bus has come a long way from where it started from. Are you going for a red monochrome theme?

Congratulations on finding something that you looked very forward to.
If I'm understanding this right, you bought it in Spain, a vehicle originally from Portugal. On the old pictures I spot evidence that it has indeed, in the past, been registered in Portugal.
I am sure, the birth certificate will be very interesting and a good read.
At that time in the past, the VW importer for Portugal also had business in other territories, will be very interesting to find out if this vehicle was really destined to Portugal from the very beginning.
If I can be of any possible help, just ask. Even if you prefer on doing it more privately by message/email no problem. |

| hi thank you, yes buy in Spain from Portugal iwait the certificat.. i m so happy because i was sale my bus53 in 2009 (for house no choice) and he miss me since.. so new project and that one is for ever for sur.. (yes mp) |
