I've been fixing up some old jacks. I'd appreciate any specifics on this jack. I know it " . . . fits from '49 to '79 . . . " not very helpful. It has the black, scalloped base, marked BILSTEIN and DBT. The hole is capped off (you can not insert the jack handle). The thing that seems different from most others is the angled "stop" on the jack point. It came out of a quite early car, but of course, that doesn't mean anything.

That “Style” of Jack was used with different cars such as Mercedes, Porsche, and other. Yours look similar to this Porsche jack.
