hello all,
i own an early 53 zwitter. can someone please show me what an original zwitter wiper switch looks like - all sides (pictures prefered) also let me know if there were any running changes in these switches and the approx. changes/dates if you know them. i have the original headlight and toggle switch, but im not convinced my wiper switch is correct.

Sorry, camera is MIA at the moment. But there are a few pics of Zwitter wiper switches on this site.
Some details:
1) Smooth stepped aluminum escutcheon that does not unscrew.
2) Switch shaft thread for knob is 3mm.
3) A tiny circlip prevents the shaft from going further into the switch.
4) Mounting bracket about 2 3/8 inches long.
5) Only 2 terminals.
6) Back side of dark brown Bakelite switch body is open; a rivet and the 2 sliding contacts are visible. (Later switches have fully enclosed contacts)
7) The terminal screws are quite fine and slightly domed. (Later screws from the 50's were cheese-head type)
8 Back of switch Bakelite may be marked "Germany" and "2612"
Post a pic of yours and you should get a quick yea / nay.
