In the process of restoring my 66 notchback and noticed there’s a threaded boss on the C-pillar and was wondering if there was ever an option for shoulder belts or 3 point harnesses in the back seat? I see the kits for the front on sites like J-bugs but it would be nice to install them in the rear as well for my two kids. Has anyone done this or seen it done? |

Hello I added three point to my 72 square. Not that many folks sit in the back but when they do they are strapped in. They are not retractables. I put the retractables in the front. Also look at seat belts plus for more options. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

If I remember correctly all of the mounting holes are there for 3 point belts. If not, the one that might be missing will be the outer lower corner. I know I had to add one for putting rear seat belts into my 65 Notch. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
