For the record, we live in northern Thailand and at the end of 2022, we bought a T4 V6 in Bangkok which only totals 80,000 kilometers.

The bus still has its original VW maintenance book, which is very rare in Thailand.

Here is the internet link with lots of pictures.
Good visit.

Bye.

Fred.

Amazing!

Wonder how much of the interior were factory options versus aftermarket upgrades. The rear facing jump seats look pretty comfy!

Hello,
in this bus, the rear layout is a specific achievement made in Thailand
The seats are genuine leather and they are actually very comfortable.
But these elements are not original VW.
These interiors are VIP versions, often made with elements of Japanese or Thai origin.

In T4 Thai, there are many different VIP versions, some are made entirely with Japanese and Thai equipment.

But some VIP layouts also incorporate VW hardware, such as front swivel bases used in the rear, or VW armrests on non-VW rear seats.
In the case of this bus, the rear swivel bases are probably of Japanese or Thai manufacture. (I do not know exactly)

Another amusing detail, the rotating seats in the back are not present on all VIP versions.

Some VIP versions even have a window that lifts to separate the driver's compartment from the passenger compartment.

This piece of furniture which separates the driving compartment and the rear passenger compartment is a Thai achievement.

By pressing a button, there is a TV that comes out of the cabinet.
