I want to make my shutter flap setup work... right now I have a earlier setup and want to run the doghouse fan shroud so do I have to get the proper arm so it will clear the doghouse extra cooler setup so the shutters wont hangup ??? Does anyone have pictures so I will know what to look for???

That was hard to read.

Your answer is Yes. The crossbar has a bend to clear the oil cooler projection.

You'll also need the two U(ish) shaped parts that link the flap levers together, they space the bar with the wow in it further away from the shroud.

I'm not planning to use my heaters just the J pipes I can use a 12 volt setup that works better but I saw that my flap setup might not work that well unless I use a tin setup like that awesome powdercoat industrial shields has to offer but are they really necessary especially on the other side where the bellows isnt there any suggestions???

Some members here have made their own industrial tins. Maybe search heater box delete tins. Or some combination.

But yes, you will need them if you are running J pipes in place of the heater boxes.
