Hi.
I'm looking for a pair of inner torsion bar retaining plates. Essentially they support the covers that I have.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I might be able to get a pair?
Thanks in advance.

not sure what you are asking here. Is your car pre 67 or later?
Anyway, not a lot of difference in the torsion bar design.
there is a torsion bar, grommet, spring plate, grommet and cover. Have a look at this diagram and tell us which part you are talking about? (it doesn't show the inner grommet)

Look through the classifieds here.
You will see sellers with lots of ads.
Karmann1st comes to mind.
Send him a message.
He seems to have everything.

Seems like you've already found them. Why not just buy these?
