I am about to embark on an engine building journey and I am trying to figure some things out. I know I want to run a blow through turbo with dual carbs, the rest is up in the air right now. This will be a weekend warrior kind of car build, nothing too pretty just fast and fun, maybe even take it to the drag strip occasionally. So starting off, should I go IDF or IDA carbs? I don't know nearly enough about them to know which way to go. |

Blow through IDF’s are a common thing. Blow through IDA’s are not. So, there’s more info out there for the IDF’s. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

You will have to have the shafts sealed up for anything over 7 lbs. in my experience.
I have seen most machine the body for seals and some machine the shaft for O-rings…personally I have never done it. |
