My fuel door cable was disconnected when I purchased my Ghia. Fortunately eveything was there except the middle part of the cable assembly. I think I have an idea of how to fix it, but was curious if anybody else has successfully repaired theirs. I am able to get a small solid aluminum wire all the way through the cable housing….. Here’s a pic with the solid aluminum wire through it. The latch and spring assembly moves freely….
