A quick question for those who have purchased the Type-E EZ-Stop disc kit:
https://type-emotorsports.com/collections/type-2-b...-brake-kit
I know that this uses common US brake calipers and rotors, but how much $$$ did you have in that other stuff that's not included?? I'm just trying to get a basic idea how much $$$ I need to do the thing. Thanks. _________________ Regards,

If you want that $535 kit:
They have a master cylinder for $125.
Ask them what these parts are and price them out: "Just swing by your local NAPA with the part numbers provided in the kit."
Voila... price for the kit. _________________ aka: Evan

Go to their instructions page and it gives you all needed part numbers with links to RockAuto’s website. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.

Just ask your wife for $1K and pocket the $$ left. |

I used the supplied links and spent $225 including shipping for everything that wasn't in the kit at Rock Auto. Rock Auto prices were lower-even with shippng than what my local Napa or O'Reilly's offered. I think my total was $179 before shipping.
Hope that helps- _________________ "I wish you could smell the smell that's coming from the bus"... |

I run this kit on all my buses, stock height and lowered regardless of the size of motor.. Being able to stop is huge! Can’t wait till he releases the early kit. I think the extra parts were roughly $200-250ish just depends on the brands.
Best part is being able to find al the parts at a local auto parts store! The kit is super easy to install as well! |
