Helsinki has a full width bed/bench... sideways additional storage seat ... and the amazing closet/sink/fridge cabinet configuration with the fold down cooker into the aisleway

Berlin looks as you pictured... in the closet area, at least.. favorite of US bus people... similar to most Vanagon Westfalia poptops

Hello,

looks like a lot of work...
the mirrors outside are not original as well as the side steps Wink
The front box with the spare wheel and offset bumper are original - the white intake grill color not.
The sliding door bracket should be silver not orange (there were also earlier rare chrome versions). The back rear locks are original black plastic, not the earlier chrome versions (but I've mounted also the nicer chrome versions at mine).
I'M irritated about the grey/white kick panels below the dashboard - I knew only black ones.
The electric intake and heat outlet for the gas ice box are original.
There is a lot of stuff - better ask step by step...

It's an European style Westfalia - don't compare it to the US versions, that are different and also called different as e.g. "P-27" and not "Berlin".

Brochures with original pics could be found at theSamba Archives or at my website:
https://www.vw-t2-bulli.de/de-books-brochures-vw-camper.html
https://www.vw-t2-bulli.de/de-books-brochures-westfalia.html
https://www.vw-t2-bulli.de/de-books-documents-camperequipment.html

A lot of photos of my original Berlin furniture parts (it is not an complete original Westfalia car!):
https://www.vw-t2-bulli.de/de-westfalia-berlin.html

regards, from Berlin Wink

The grill is correct. It is suppose to match the body color.

Yes - and behind it the black plastic grid VW #211259165A (available as reproduction) against insects in the fresh air is missing (I see the open flaps behind the inlets - normally more hidden by this plastic grid).

Tank cap is also not original (reproduction are available with lock, VW #211201551R).

Would this Vw emblem fit on my spare part box like in pic. Did that box have a Vw emblem on it.

The screen is the correct one for that bus, the emblem should work, but you'll need the clips to mount it as well, odd that the logo isn't molded right into the box like I have seen on others....

The Westfalia are made from cheaper Kombis - with less chrome - also the VW sign without in white.
(only the more luxury buses have chrome bumpers and chrome VW sign and chrome trim around all windows like at yours only around the windshield etc.)

But both sign version are made of plastic in the same shape - so many exchanged it by the nicer chrome version with the 3 plastic clips to hold it at the 3 holes.

Might be they mounted somehow the earlier bigger T2a VW metal logo before... if the correct but smaller later T2b did not fit by the mounting pins at these holes

The rest of the front look correct (image from http://www.mybulli.de):
