Please help what color , color code? 1961 vw bug PIC POSTED

Hello guys! I recently got this 1961 made in german vw bug vin #3327415 and I am having a hard time trying to know what color it is... I really want to paint the whole car and I went to paint store they made a color match but as wel all know with color match we dont always get the perfect color its always off by a little...

I will post some pictures and a link to a youtube video, please watch youtube video on high quality... Hopefully someone will be able to tell me what color it is and what color code it might be...

I tried to look up the vin # with no sucess might be because its a german import??

Where did you look for the VIN? It's all right on this site. Judging by the charts here-

Looks like August of 1960, so very early 61 model year-

Using that info, lets look at the paint codes here-

Based on this, looks like it could be L391 "Pastel Blue" but judging by the wheels being solid color rather than factory two-tone it was likely painted at some point. From what I see it's definitely not L380 or L390.

Also, going by a paint match to what is on the car is sometimes better than going off of color codes, as the fade and age is taken into account better. Unless you just want what was on there new, then knowing the paint code is best.
