Have a car coming up soon that the owner wants his turtlebacks used on the car. As usual missing 3. Anybody make a solution other than trying to find them? Worse case I have a machinist nearby that I can talk to about fabbing them.

Assuming your talking about these 'Formula Vee' Mag Wheels and center caps.
Haven't seen any available in theSamba Classified's or other whereabouts for quite some time. Maybe place a "WTB" in the Wheel / Tire Classifieds.
I too am surprised someone has not reproduced a replacement center cap for these wheels.
I've seen the Wolfsburg Horn Button used, they seem to fit the center hole bore.

Yep...I am having a hard time paying what folks want for a half decent cap. I am hoping someone has come up with something so I dont have to reinvent the wheel.

Did you ever find these? I have 3 and am missing 1. Can't find them anywhere? Did you have any luck with the machinist?
