Has anyone run the 165/55r15 Can-Am Spyder front tires on the front of a bug? Impressions and feedback? I'm looking for tires for the front of my oval, 4 inch narrow adjustable, drop spindles, disks, 15x5 Randar Cyclones. Thanks.

Are they a bike tire or a car tire? I know some guys in the 36hp challenge at Bonneville tried bike tires and they worked alright going straight but did not like to turn at all.

That's tough to answer. It's a 3 wheeled motorcycle (2 front, one rear) so little of both I guess. the front wheels don't appear to lean when the trike turns, so I think it might corner like a car in the front. I have no experience with either the trike or the tires.

I would also check the load rating on the tires. They are made for a fairly light vehicle

There are a few different 165/55 car tyres available in the uk, so you should be able to find something more suitable in the size you want. I don't know how easy they are to get in the US though

I’m running Federal 165/55R15 on the front of my 73 Super Beetle. Car tires, and I absolutely love them.
