I found this while looking for options to put a degree ring on a 36hp pulley. The seller wasn't sure it was for a VW, but the two clamp tabs for the pulley holes perfectly. I'm not sure how well they'd hold over time..
Strangely, it doesn't fit the later pulley with the deep lip, only the 55 and earlier thin lip style
I would drill and tap some screws if I decided to run this. But who knows..
Any info on who might have made it? _________________ modok wrote:

I have one of those! But mine is more of a 'ring' , mostly just the size of the outer lip of the pulley, like I'm missing the center part that covers the pulley bolt.
Is yours 2 pieces? An outer 'ring' and a center part? _________________

Yes, the chrome pice is a separate, and the degree ring gets clamped underneath it _________________ modok wrote:

Did a little more searching and asking around..
So this appears to be an old school Empi dress up kit
While asking around, I did score 2 more NOS degree wheels, with the chrome cap. They are without the mounting hardware, but otherwise perfect.
Of course they are slightly different than the one I have. That one is black and 172mm outside diameter, these are 180mm outside, and chrome plated. Neither degree wheel fits the 36hp pulley that has the lip, as the lip diameter is 168mm. They do fit the early non lip 36hp/ 25hp pulley, and probably a later/ larger pulley, I just don't have any later ones handy to check.
You can see the smaller ring doesn't fit the lip style 36hp pulley
The mounting hardware. It's pretty janky, I imagine many of these got tossed off and wrecked. If I use one, I will drill and tap the pulley for machine screws instead.
