Does anyone have a video link, or information on how to lift the body off a Thing chassis. We’re doing floor pan replacement and are concerned about where the lift points should be, and if any bracing is required to keep the body from twisting.

Since a 181 does not have a roof structure the condition of your rockers may dictate on whether you need any additional bracing to prevent "tacoing". Looks like keeping the doors on will help to strengthen the rockers.

The Domeck brothers have a pretty neat setup that bolts to the and spans the center door pillars for lifting.

Here's a few videos I found.
