Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Actually, just me playing around with the brand new Photoshop AI features for the first time. Over the top, of course, but it's kind of addictive and fun.

For better or worse, photography just changed forever. Until AI kills us all, that is, lol. Anyway, this image made me laugh so I thought I'd share.

Awesome! My favorite thing is the little critter on the pop top.

Super sweet you did this with AI. It even added water reflection

Yup, I just typed "reflective mountain lake" and presto. I even asked it to put an bearded older man behind the wheel. The dog is the only real animal. It's still in Beta, but pretty impressive. And the little critter on the pop top... "marmot standing up" was all I had to tell it.

I enjoy(ed) photo posts.
Enjoy(ed) Vanagon brethren/sistren gettin out there, bringing us along….
with pics.

Can AI make a sunset pic of my van on a cloudy day for the sunset pics thread?
Can AI document the entire sequence of rust repair for a classified ad?

Fun, and foreboding.
I find this terrifying that there’s no stopping AI.
This is only the tip of the iceberg.

What? No yoga model on the luggage rack? AI has a lot to learn.

Hard to say whether the cougar or yoga model would be the apex predator...

It depends if the cougar is a former yoga instructor.

The FUN thing is if A.I does indeed decide to take over, we will never know. If it ever hits a *smarter than us* threshold, we won't even realize it.

It'll trick us as easy as we trick a dog.

I’m not worried. There is so much misinformation on the WWW, how smart can AI get? I’ll take experience over knowledge any day of the week. AI should probably replace its fuel lines first.

25 years ago the Information Age changed from a problem of access, to a problem of quality.

AI will not change that.

I remember when the information age was going to ensure lasting peace because it enabled better communication.
Twitter didn’t have good controls, but that can be fixed, right?
All you need is good people running it.
Kids, for example can do it well ‘cuz they’re pure, not prejudiced.

‘Good controls’ on AI should be easier because good people will monitor and control the Algorithms.
Eventually good AI will control the algorithms even better.

In general, I’ve expected photos on theSamba to be honest
AI desecrating the “honesty” of photography is not a happy thought.

Zeitgeist comment was kinda fun though. Laughing

This is gonna get interesting. Just a few hours ago a friend posted the photo below. He commutes to work on this road and occasionally posts interesting photos. The first response was "Wow! That's an amazing encounter with wildlife."

He quickly said it was Photoshop AI.

Off we go into the great unknown.
