Hi there,

I have a PICT28 that is trash and need to replace with a PICT30. Problem is, I need to rejet, but the old jets dont have the stamps on them.

Does anyone know of the correct jets to use at Sea Level.

thanks
Stuart

Congrats on your first post!!! Very Happy

Problem is the 1100cc engine was not used past the early 1950s. Due to this not sure if you have a split window bug, or a pre-1956 bus, or the later 1956-67 split screen bus.....

Maybe post images of the engine and your VW???

OK, will guess it is a 40 HP 1200cc, and not the 36 HP 1200cc engine.

Upper at the right of this and every Thesamba webpge is the "Technical" button. Left click on that button and on the next webpage scroll down to the "Technical Instruction Manuals" column.

Look for the "Without Guesswork" near the bottom of that column, left click on that.

Next page will show you the year by year copies of the original VW mechanics ONLY handy dandy pocket reference for technical data on the VWs.

Best for you is the 1965 copy, up front is the index to tell you which pages you will find the info you seek.

When hovering the mouse cursor over each set of pages, look down to the lower left of the screen, and the pages you are over will be listed in a box down there.
