I installed a Renogy DC-to-DC charger with MPPT (DCC30S) for my new 200Ah LiFePo4 setup and found the blue and green lights to be ridiculously bright at night (the alternator and solar lights are off at night). Simple fix..... I ordered some sliding laptop camera covers with adhesive backing. Works like a charm. Could also work for other bright lights in the van you need during the day, but not at night. Enjoy!

The controller for my CDH has a whole screen about 2" by 3" that lights up the interior of the rig. I use duct tape to cover it at night. I hope something less janky will show up for this task. Until then, it's the Red Green solution. _________________ '86 Syncro Westy SVX |

Pretty neat. I've got a few small pieces of duct tape covering various LEDs in the van like this one on the Victrn charge controller. It seems like I could read by it all night.
