I took my 74 camper to walmart to have the oil changed they overfilled it now the engine is blowing oil onto the clutch and it is slipping ,next it started poping out of first gear and literally moving the shifter out of gear then it started grinding in reverse then it refused to go into first at all so I got online went to a v.w. site and it recomended adjusting the shaft at the bell housing or tip of the transaxle this didn't help at all, next it said to move the actual shifter forward or reverse depending on the gear in question now it goes into no gears at all any help greatly appreciated as no one at all from the local v.w. dealer or amco transmissions or even recommended mecanics from air care help site will touch it please let me know thanks Eric [email protected] or 641-424-8393 |

If the clutch is slipping you need to separate the engine from the transmission and start from there. _________________ '78 Westfalia CDN
