The Island Bug Jam is happening again for 2024! Please come enjoy the cruise, BBQ, Camping and Show 'N Shine August 24-25th, 2024 at the Comox Valley Exhibition's 150th Anniversary!

The Island Bug Jam is a Volkswagen enthusiasts' weekend in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, BC, open to ANY and ALL VWs and has something for everyone! Do you like looking at VWs? Cruising in your VW? Camping in your VW? Showing off your VW? Endlessly talking about carburetor settings on a stranger's VW? Do you like goats? Dogs? Horses? Chainsaws? Food Trucks? Old farm equipment? All this and more are waiting for you at the fabulous 2024 Island Bug Jam!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 24, 2024 - CRUISE, BBQ, CAMPING
CRUISE meet location and route TBA.
2pm meet, 3pm roll-out cruise around the Comox Valley followed by a free BBQ, all compliments of our title sponsor Comox Valley Volkswagen.
CAMPING will be available Saturday evening on the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds (CVEX, 4839 Headquarters Road, Courtenay). Email [email protected] for more details.


SUNDAY, AUGUST 25, 2024 - SHOW & SHINE
AT: CVEX Grounds, 4839 Headquarters Road, Courtenay.
8-10am REGISTRATION $25 Per Car and includes:
-Admission for all occupants
-Free T-shirt for first 100 cars
-Admission to the CVEX vehicle occupants (while passes last).
-Door prize ticket and dash plaque
10am-3pm SHOW & SHINE, CVEX
-Raffles, door prizes
-Trophies for 7 vehicle classes plus poster pick for next year
-CVEX agricultural fair (150 Year Anniversary!!)
-displays, kids activities, entertainment and food trucks
DOGS:
-Only with show registered vehicles
-Only in the Bug Jam area
-Must be on leash at all times.
VISITORS NOT REGISTERED IN THE BUG JAM must pay admission to the CVEX
