Hi everyone,

Who has the best, correct replacement rear fenders for a 54-55 car?

Thanks.

I'm gonna guess that Bob from BBT over in Belgium has had it made. They have North American distributors (Samba.com member Lind Bjornsen in Idaho, CIP1 in Canada, etc.). I just got a pair of the Euro Oval front fenders thru Lind rather reasonably priced too.

Hands down the best at this point: https://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/DetailsList.cfm?ID=111821305A

Produced by Dirk Hortig in Germany.

BBT has not completed their attempt to produce a rear fender yet. They have a prototype but have not distributed a finished product.

I have not seen many passable fenders other than the above... but they are pricey.

I have a set of Dirk’s rear fenders for my 54, purchased from WW. The details, quality and fit are exceptional, they even have the correct drain holes.

Dirk's fenders are not symmetrical - he made them that way on purpose.
