2025 VW Love Bug Rally Sat Feb 15 -AUSTIN, TEXAS!!!

This is a gimmick rally thru the streets and highways in and around Austin, TX.
If you have participated in the June Bug Rally, then this is very similar, just at a COOLER time of the year!

This coincides with 3rd Saturday VW Night at Top Notch on Burnet Road!

"It's the 2nd most fun thing you can do in your Volkswagen"

2025 Inaugural VW Love Bug Rally -AUSTIN, TEXAS!!!

2025 VW Love Bug Rally - Austin TX
When: Saturday February 15
Location: Cypress Creek Park, 13601 Bullick Hollow Road Austin, TX 78726

The Love Bug Rally is a gimmick rally open to all Volkswagens!
We will feature the famous LeMans start and will eventually end up at Top Notch Hamburgers on Burnett Road for 3rd Saturday VW Night at Top Notch!

Fun will be had by all!!!

Registration Opens: 2:00pm
Driver's Meeting: 3:30pm
Driver Introductions: 3:45pm
Green Flag Drops: 4:00pm
Registration: $5
T-Shirts: $20

Couple folks have asked me exactly what is the Love Bug Rally?? Well, just like the June Bug Rally, it is a gimmick rally.
What that means is, you get a packet with driving directions of the rally course.
Following those directions, along the rally route will be questions you will have to answer.
For example, " How many street light poles are there in the parking lot at the corner of 5th and Chicon?" Courses usually take 1-1/2 to 2 hours max.
Since we do a LeMans start, everyone starts at the same time.
The winner is determined by who gets the most answers correct AND is the first to get back with the that high number of correct answers.
We have had many folks say that this is the most fun they have ever had in their VW, some said it was the second most fun they have had!!!! whoa!!!

Hope y'all can join us, February 15 and if not for the Love Bug Rally, come join us for the June Bug Rally, June 21 in Austin, TX.

What a great Inaugural Love Bug Rally!!

We had 20 VW 's enter and start and 20 VW's that made it to the end at Top Notch Hamburgers!

Thank you to all participants and folks who came out to support the Love Bug Rally!

And if you missed the Love Bug Rally, the June Bug Rally is June 21, it will just be a little bit hotter then!!!
