Good day all,

I have been on the look-out for a set of steel wheels like my dad had on his '70 Bug in the 90's.

The fronts were (and this is working off of memory from 20+ years ago) 14" x 5.5 or 6.

The rears were 15" x 7 or 8.

All steal with a deep dish the back ones but just barely fit flush with the stock fenders. I remember we had to source Corvette beauty rings they were so deep.

They were 4x130 and accepted the late style hubcap.

I've been searching for months and am wondering if I've been searching incorrectly or if they really were that rare.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nobody probably makes 14” stock style wheels.
But, for 15’s, you can have them made.

Or check US Wheel for chrome or painted:

The 15x7 chrome stock style fit right within a stock rear fender.

I could have sworn they were 14s tho because we couldn't get a stocker to fit right when it was a roller
