Have any of you installed an electric air conditioner? I have seen few videos on the matter and although there are some "universal" conversions, I have not been able to find much information about this installation in a pre 1967 beetle.

It seems like a lot of $ moola and the same amount of work involved . May as well get a modern, real one, for the amount and trouble involved.
