The disassembled 912E engine that I bought came with this GB engine case, so it was fair to say that this was the original engine case to that engine. The complete #'s on the case are GB 003361. |

I searched Classifieds and did a basic web search to try to determine an asking price for a GB engine case. A long time ago, I acquired a disassembled 912E engine and used parts of it to build a Type 4 engine for my VW. All the 912E specific parts were sold back then. I still have the engine case and am trying to put a value on it. Interested in opinions far and wide. Thank you in advance. |
Only wondering what a GB case, engine number has directly to do with a 912 E.
GB is 914 Euro with 100 hp, 1973 to 76
912 E engine number should be 6 406 0001 till 6 406 9999
These cases are often out of seize. |
