Looking for 1964 Porsche owner nicknamed Painter Pete

Hi. I usually hang out in the Split Window Bus threads but I figured if anyone would know it would be you people.

Anybody heard of a guy in San Diego called Painter Pete? I was buying gas for my '65 Bus when he approached me and told me he had a 1964 356 and a Beetle and a later Bay Bus. I need to ask him some questions. He forgot to give me his phone number.
