Ok, huge longshot, but I would love to track down my old 1973 Thing.
Last seen in very rough condition wearing a brown primer exterior paint job. Originally yellow. It had a variety of dents including a pushed in driver's side rocker, a primer grey driver's side door, and rather large dents in both the front and rear.
I sold it to a guy who let it go completely to seed, and I heard it was eventually towed by the City and sold at auction. I have recently heard rumors it was in a South Chicago or Gary Ind. junkyard still more or less complete.
